The MISSION STATEMENT of Pierce Memorial United Methodist Church

is to bring people to JESUS CHRIST.

We seek:

to live by FAITH

To be a voice of HOPE

To be known by LOVE

~ 1 Coriinthians 13: 13 ~

To Live by FAITH:

We are a faith-based family as we worship God together and study God's Word in Sunday School classes and mid-week Bible Studies. We are a people of prayer.

We have an active ministry for Children of all ages, including Sunday School & Vacation Bible School.

To be a Voice of HOPE:

We extend hope to others through our mission programs aimed to help those in need.

We have an active United Methodist Women's group who work to give hope through support of community & worldwide mission projects.

We support local ministries beyond our local church such as Helping Hands Food Bank, River of Life, Kairos Prision Ministries, a Giving Tree at Christmas and others.

To be Known by LOVE:

We are a welcoming church to all people. Our facilities are handicap accessible.

We demostrate our love to those we serve through the ministry of our choir.

We host an annual Live Nativity, as a gift to the community.

We participate in interdenominationsl fellowship and worship in our community. With the Baptist church, we alternate hosting a Community Christmas Cantata, an Easter Sonrise Service and 5th Sunday Evening Worship Services.
